Search Marketing approached Positive Response Telemarketing
Agency in early 2007, with the objective of engaging a telesales
partner for a trial period to support the 2007 new customer
acquisition initiatives. Pending the success of a trial
period, Yahoo! Search Marketing anticipated an ongoing relationship
with their chosen agency.
Together
with Yahoo! Search Marketing, PRTA developed a complete
campaign strategy which far exceeded the campaign brief,
by providing Yahoo! Search Marketing with a dedicated 360°
telesales campaign. The strategy incorporated telemarketing
as the primary lead generation vehicle and utilising PRTA’s
internal design and development studio, extended the campaign
message by providing an online presence to support the direct
activity. Prospects were given the ability to review the
product and offer, and to register as a new customer using
the online resources. PRTA then finalised the process by
formally registering new customers through the outbound
telesales channel.
PRTA
has now assumed the responsibilities associated with the
entire new customer acquisition initiatives of Yahoo! Search
Marketing, including campaign strategy development and deployment,
as well as market segment and vertical selection for each
new initiative.
